The Woodlands Farm trail is open for free all year. As you meander your way across the fields you’ll see the turkeys, the animals, the Lincolnshire Buff Chickens, the arable crops and the market garden. Look out for skelduck and herons rising from the dykes, spot the sleek brown hares, the pheasants and the barn owls flip-flapping. You’ll find the colours and the crops of the fields change with the cycle of the seasons. Sometimes they’re green with grass or broccoli, at other times they’re chocolate brown and sleeping under the plough…

The Woodlands Farm trail starts at the barn, Woodlands Farm, Wash Road, near Kirton, Boston, Lincolnshire PE20 1DN. You’ll find trail guides to pick up directing you along the way.
There are several routes one of which leads you down farm tracks and home along Wash Road. This may be more suitable for wheelchair users.
Please note: dogs are welcome but on leads only please.
