Farm Visits

We welcome visits from schools, special interest groups, individuals and other organisations. If you would like to arrange a farm visit please enter your details below.

Visits can be tailored to suit your needs. Why not bring a picnic lunch if it's a morning visit? Stout walking shoes or Wellington boots are recommended.

Costs of visits start at £3.00 per person including VAT for a guided tour (teachers are free). Please note the farm trail is open all year for free.

What to expect

Meander through the fields as if on safari, get close to the cattle and calves, and perhaps the sheep (if they’re not too wild!), see the turkeys and our rare Lincolnshire Buff chickens (so sleek and silky in their fiery red plumage), collect an egg, learn about organic farming, the market garden and the wonderful vegetables; marvel over the beautiful views that have inspired poets, painters and musicians. See the vegetable boxes being packed. And meet us!

Where to meet

We meet at the barn at Woodlands Farm, Wash Road, Kirton, Lincolnshire, PE20 2DN.
