from the beautiful hills of Tuscany. We’re expanded our range of pasta to include durum wheat torchietto. The delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced  by Stefano and Claudia Gonnelli of Podere Borgaruccio, not far from the main Tuscan art cities of Florence and San Gimignano. Both will be available to order just as soon as they reach us…

for the Eastern Region, in the 2012 Stepping up for Nature Awards run by the RSPB. 

Awarded in recognition of the farms ‘outstanding contribution to Nature Conservation’, the RSPB cited the farm’s ‘great diversity of initiatives and broad encompassing work that has done so much to foster biodiversity.’

‘This is really great news!’ said Andrew Dennis, owner of Woodlands Farm. ‘It’s especially meaningful because everyone on the farm has contributed. Whether maintaining our hedges, administering our photovoltaic installation, or growing and delivering wonderful crops of organic food. Well done eveyone!’

‘ There are lots of things happening for nature at Woodands.

And I really hope we’ll be able to continue fostering biodiversity through initiatives like our new turtle dove project  aimed at encouraging the return of the turtle dove to this part of Lincolnshire. Watch this space!’

The Stepping up for Nature Awards are awarded regionally. The Eastern region covers Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

A chance to experience the farm in winter with a walk of 10,000 steps to build appetites for Christmas, followed by coffee/tea, cake and home made soup. £5 per person. We’re developing new delivery rounds in response to requests from the lovely folk of L, L and R! So do join us, or if you have friends living in those areas let them know!
