Woodlands Farm
Painting
Rosie spent many days at Woodlands in the summer of 2007 filling sketchbooks with pencil studies of the farm and also of Lincoln Farmers’ market, always drawing directly from life. She then continued her work in the studio, using watercolour, acrylic paint and digital technology to combine the original drawings with colour for the finished works. Words by Andrew Dennis are reproduced beneath some of the pictures.
